A "Taste of Nashville" and the Opry

Day 8

Culinary expert-crafted "Taste of Nashville" farewell dinner... then the Grand Ole Opry

The longest continuously-running radio broadcast in US history, the Grand Ole Opry began as a one-hour radio "barn dance" on WSM in Nashville, Tennessee in November 1925, and continues to this day as a weekly nationally broadcast stage concert honoring country music and its history. Broadcast from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium from 1943 until moving to its own Grand Ole Opry House in 1974, the “Opry” helped Nashville become America’s “Music City” and country music capital as it attracted millions of radio (and, later, Internet) listeners around the world. You’ll attend a performance at the legendary Opry yourself… but first, enjoy an exclusive “Taste of Nashville” farewell reception and dinner created and hosted by a local culinary expert.

Tauck Exclusive – Lunch at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum

Day 7

Exclusive lunch at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum

Adding a strikingly modern touch to the Nashville skyline, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum – the “Smithsonian of country music” that you’ll explore during your visit to Nashville – collects, preserves, and interprets the evolving history and traditions of country music in a state-of-the-art facility that recently unveiled a $100 million expansion in the heart of “Music City, USA.”

The Hermitage Hotel

Nights 7 and 8

"Meet me at The Hermitage"

The Hermitage Hotel is downtown Nashville's original and longest standing hotel. Built in 1910 with the cooperation of the Nashville community, The Hermitage has been the backdrop for over a hundred years’ worth of traditions, memories and iconic moments. Tennessee’s most cherished hotel looks forward to being your home-away-from-home in America’s Music City. As the locals have said for more than a century… “Meet me at The Hermitage."

When I returned from my trip of the Bluegrass & Blue Ridges, I was in awe of all that I experienced.

Smaller groups foster camaraderie and lasting friendships among like-minded travelers; you'll engage more closely with local experts and enjoy enhanced insider access, ease of travel and freedom to linger longer.

Solo Traveler Savings

Traveling solo doesn't mean traveling alone – with Tauck, it means camaraderie on a journey with like-minded travelers who share similar interests, enjoying the spirit of travel that makes exploring the world a necessary part of life – and sharing the special travel experiences found on Tauck’s guided land trips and cruises that create lifetime memories. For 90+ years, solo travelers have found a special "travel" home with Tauck in destinations the world over – and we’re offering solo travelers an additional reason to travel with Tauck – special Solo Traveler Savings on select departures.
