Explore Whistler by gondola

Day 8

If soaring over stunning 360˚ alpine views have some appeal...

...then a trip aboard the Peak-to-Peak Whistler gondola is the perfect choice on Day 8. From mountain peaks to glacial valleys, soar over a pristine alpine landscape of forested valleys carved by glacial forces where pine trees rule, glacial lakes sparkle, forests harbor wildlife and the mountains envelop you. The gondola is a marvel of engineering in itself... and did we mention the views are astounding?

Visit to a honey bee farm

Day 6

The secret life of honey bees...

Nestled in the beautiful hills of South East Kelowna, British Columbia, Arlo’s Honey Farm is where the dance of the honey bees orchestrates the pollination of flowers, fruits, berries, and vegetables while creating award-winning honey. A local guide reveals all on a visit – where you'll learn how bees keep busy foraging and collecting pollen & nectar from the gardens to make into honey when bee keepers introduce their busy bees to you. Enjoy a tasting of honey flavors, tour the gardens, and see the bees in action from behind a protective screen.

Experience exquisite floral landscapes at The Butchart Gardens

Day 11

A flight of fancy...

Over a century ago, one very enterprising Mrs. Jennie Butchart transformed an abandoned limestone quarry on her family’s Victoria estate into a sunken garden of world renown. Her goal, at first, was to hide the hideous excavation from sight. As she covered the tall mounds of dirt with terraced rock gardens, and dangled ivy over the sides of the pit, her imagination took root along with her flowers. She invited friends to marvel at her horticultural masterpiece over tea, extending her hospitality to a growing number of visitors over the years, a gesture that earned her the community’s best citizen award in 1930. While many think of her as an accomplished gardener and consummate hostess, we know that she was also a very adventurous lady who enjoyed ballooning and flying. Which is why, when we fly our guests on a floatplane from Victoria, home to The Butchart Gardens, over the picturesque Gulf Islands to Vancouver, we think she’d be pretty delighted indeed.

Sparkling Hill Resort

Nights 5 and 6

A premier resort that's a destination in itself...

Stunning views... peace and quiet... and first-class service are hallmarks of Sparkling Hill Resort overlooking Lake Okanagan in British Columbia's beautiful Okanagan region (known for fruit orchards and wineries). Enjoy stunning Monashee Mountain or Okanagan Lake views – and the window walls can be opened to instantly transform your room into an outdoor oasis and let fresh mountain air in – beautifully appointed with Swarovski crystal architecture and custom soaking tubs... farm-to-table-style dining... the state-of-the-art health facilities at KurSpa, offering a range of amenities and services that combine a European-style approach to wellness hospitality with cutting-edge crystal architecture and state-of-the-art spa facilities... and much more.
