Tour & Cruise Status by Destination
We continue to make every effort to provide the most up-to-date information on the status of your tour or cruise. However, please know that as we share the below updates, we recognize there are events outside our control that we cannot predict or prevent. While access to certain destinations and itinerary elements may evolve over time, what won't change is our commitment to do everything possible to deliver the quality experience and peace of mind you expect when traveling with Tauck. All tours are operating with the exception of select departures of Grand Canadian Rockies – Due to a critical maintenance issue on VIA Rail's train, The Canadian, we have reluctantly been forced to cancel the following departures: 5/28, 6/18, 7/9, 7/30, 8/20, 9/3, 9/10. Please note that we are in the process of contacting all impacted guests and will review options at that time.
We are closely monitoring any potential impact from the tragic crisis in Ukraine on our tours and cruises in Europe. With the exception to Russia, as noted below, all tours and cruises are operating normally. MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA
All tours and cruises are operating with the following exception:
At this time, we are unable to operate several itineraries due to current travel restrictions.
Although Australia is starting to open up its borders, we are unable to operate our itineraries within the current travel restrictions. Due to these challenges, all trips to Australia and New Zealand are cancelled through August 31, 2022. For all guests departing on September 1, 2022 or later, we will notify you before your final payment is due to confirm the status of your tour or cruise.
All Tauck guests age 12 and older must be up to date with their vaccinations for Covid. If over 270 days have passed since your initial vaccination series, you must have a booster shot. No booster shot is required if you can show proof of having recovered from Covid within 180 days of travel.
Although highly recommended, vaccination for minors under age 12 is not required by Tauck; however, if unvaccinated they must present a negative result from a PCR test taken within 3-days, or an antigen test taken within 2-days, of departing for their Tauck trip.

2022 FINAL PAYMENT
For all land tours, final payment is due 60 days before trip departure and 120 days for river cruises, small ship cruises and rail journeys.
Please note: Final payment for Life on the Mississippi and Grand Alaska is 120 days before trip departure.
2022 TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
If you have to cancel your trip, regardless of reason, cancellation of confirmed bookings results in costly penalties and fees from hotels, ship operators and other travel providers. Applicable fees are tour specific and dependent on the timing before your trip's departure. Customer Protection: Our UK-based agents comply with the bonding requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority and provide full financial protection for the package holidays that we sell in the UK. For flight-based holidays, this is through the Air Travel Organiser's Licence (details of which are available from the UK-based agent with whom you book). When you buy a package holiday that doesn't include a flight, protection of your monies paid to our UK-based agent will be provided by way of a bond.
