    An exclusive look behind-the-scenes at the Rose Parade Float Construction Barns

    Welcoming the New Year in like nothing else, Pasadena's Rose Parade has been drawing crowds for years with its creatively designed floral floats, every visible surface ingeniously covered with flowers, bark, leaves or seeds. With Tauck, you'll see the floats close-up, both before and during the Parade. First, learn what it takes to make these amazing floats when we take you behind-the-scenes at the Parade Float Construction Barns for an up-close look at the pre-parade preparations. Then, on New Year's Day, you'll see them in their full technicolor floral glory from the best seats along the parade route; we've reserved them especially for our guests!

    Ring in the New Year with our private Gala New Year's Party in Santa Monica

    Our "Celebration of Roses" Event is highlighted by the party of the year – our Tauck Exclusive New Year's Eve extravaganza at Fairmont Miramar Santa Monica! This elegant and festive soirée begins with a black tie cocktail reception… continues with dinner and dancing to the Big Band sounds of Rik Howard, an award-winning musical director, musician, singer and songwriter, and his orchestra... and of course includes a champagne toast and a memorable rendition of "Auld Lang Syne"!

    Tauck Exclusive – Private Reagan Library tour and lunch

    At the Reagan Library, enjoy an exclusive lunch under the wings of Air Force One

    Perched on a hilltop surrounded by sweeping vistas of Simi Valley, the mountains, and the Pacific, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum are dedicated to the life and times of the 40th President of the US. On your private visit to the complex during our "Celebration of Roses" event, explore a full-size replica of the Oval Office as it appeared during Reagan's White House years; see an exhibit on the Berlin Wall, featuring parts of the wall itself; and enjoy a Tauck Exclusive lunch in the Air Force One Pavilion, dining under the wings of the actual Air Force One aircraft – tail number 27000 – which flew seven US presidents!
